Do you think you can find it... any little better than you have it?

Decided against giving you part 2 of Two Step... you'll just have to get yourself DMB's Central Park Concert (preferably the DVD) to experience the glory of the entirety.

Instead, have some of this from One Republic: a wonderful, wonderful study on the human search for satisfaction.  Again, glorious.

(By the way, the DVD's only a tenner on Amazon's Marketplace...)

For "contradictions", read "hallmarks of reliability"

This BBC magazine article got me thinking about apparent contradictions between different eyewitness accounts of the same event.  It turns out that variation in the details smacks of authenticity, not fabrication...

"The problem is people simply don't remember exactly what happened, say psychologists. The mind does not work like a video camera, nowhere in the brain is the perfect memory of everything that has been seen, in the order it happened."

Dave Matthews Band - Two Step (part 1)

7 minutes of near perfection... DMB aren't consistently fab, but when they're good, boy are they good.  Part 2 to follow...
